By accessing our website at confianzamoving.com or using the services of Confianza Moving & Storage LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Confianza Moving & Storage is a licensed household goods broker (FMCSA MC-57381910, USDOT 5639737). We are not a motor carrier and do not transport household goods. We arrange interstate moves on your behalf with motor carriers that hold active operating authority from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
The motor carrier that performs your move is responsible for the physical transportation of your household goods, including loading, transport, delivery, and any packing or storage services it provides. The carrier will issue the bill of lading and its written estimate, and the specific terms of the move — including pricing, dates, and scope of work — will be set out in those documents and in our written broker agreement with you. We will identify the motor carrier assigned to your move before your move date.
As required by federal regulations, we provide you with the FMCSA publications "Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move" and "Ready to Move," along with information on the carrier's dispute settlement program.
All quotes provided through our website, phone, or email are estimates based on the information provided. Final pricing is confirmed in writing prior to your move. We strive to provide accurate flat-rate quotes with no hidden fees. Any additional services requested on moving day may result in additional charges, which will be disclosed before the work is performed.
Liability for loss of or damage to your household goods rests with the motor carrier that transports them, as governed by federal law (49 U.S.C. § 14706) and FMCSA regulations (49 CFR Part 375). As a broker, Confianza Moving & Storage does not take possession of your goods and is not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by the motor carrier.
Interstate carriers must offer two levels of liability coverage: Full Value Protection and Released Value Protection (minimal coverage of no more than 60 cents per pound, per article). Review the valuation options on the carrier's bill of lading carefully before signing. We recommend customers consider additional moving insurance for high-value items.
Claims for loss or damage must be filed in writing directly with the motor carrier within nine (9) months of delivery. We will provide the carrier's contact information and assist you with the claims process where we can.
Carriers are generally not liable for damage to items packed by the customer, pre-existing damage, or items of extraordinary value that were not disclosed prior to the move.

We cannot transport hazardous materials including but not limited to: flammable liquids, explosives, toxic chemicals, firearms (without proper licensing), perishable food items, or live plants on long-distance moves.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit cards, and electronic payments. Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.
Any disputes arising from our services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Florida in accordance with applicable laws.
Confianza Moving & Storage acts solely as a broker. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or performance of any motor carrier, including loss of or damage to household goods, delays, or carrier charges. Our total liability for our own brokerage services shall not exceed the brokerage fees you paid to Confianza Moving & Storage for the specific move giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have against the motor carrier under federal law.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
